We are a 126 bed full service accredited long term care home and licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. Kensington has develped a Special Care Unit for residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias that permits safe movement within the facility. The Special Care Unit includes access to a unique secured patio and balcony so our residents can continue to enjoy the outdoors safely Kensington offers a diverse array of room types to suit the needs of residents. Standard, semi-private and private rooms are available, each with a wheelchair accessible washroom. We encourage all residents to bring home-like furnishings and accessories to give your space a home-like touch. As a complete nursing care facility, we offer the services of medical professionals to meet the needs of residents. Nurses are on staff 24 hours a day to administer medication and address any medical concerns. Qualified Personal Support Workers, are on hand to assist with day-to-day personal care needs. Every day offers our residents a chance to be involved as much or as little as they want with the many professionally planned activities offer throughout the Home.
